   Maribel, Wisconsin

   Maribel is a village in Manitowoc County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 351 at the 2010 census.

   A post office called Maribel has been in operation since 1837.[6] The community took its name from a nearby mineral spring.[7]

   Maribel is located at 44°16′35″N 87°48′26″W / 44.27639°N 87.80722°W / 44.27639; -87.80722 (44.2763830 -87.8073129).[2]

   According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 1.17 square miles (3.03 km2), all of it land.[8]

   As of the census[3] of 2010, there were 351 people, 141 households, and 105 families living in the village. The population density was 300.0 inhabitants per square mile (115.8/km2). There were 144 housing units at an average density of 123.1 per square mile (47.5/km2). The racial makeup of the village was 99.1% White, 0.3% Native American, and 0.6% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.3% of the population.
